HPT Question Again

Yesterday I took an HPT and I got a faint positive, the time limit was 10 minutes and i looked at it like 8 or 9 minutes later {it could've showed up earlier than that} but I still wasn't sure if maybe it was an evaporation line. Um I looked at it this morning and it is still there just a little duller cuz the paper got dry. Does anyone think if it was an evap line that it might have went away yet cuz I heard they go away... thank you!

I dealt with the faint positive/negative/faint positive woes....lol. If you checked it before the 10 minute limit...i highly doubt it was an evap...evaps usually look more like a darker version of the background they're on...like...grayish toned. If it was pink, or blue, depending on the test...it was positive. With an HPT I never got a "dark" line...got a + and neg and then a slightly less faint (but still like...hmm) line. Went to the doc...and she alerted me to how quickly I came up positive. Wait a few more days (usually 3-6 is good) and test again. I think you'll be thrilled :) Good luck.

thanks so much!!

I've had *loads* of lines show up after the test time (and yes, five to ten minutes after), and I have yet to see a real bfp. They were all pink. Don't ever trust a line that shows up after the test time.
