Hi there, I need some postive feedback from someone!I was supposed to get my period April 23rd it is now May 2nd, I have taken hpt and they showed a postive line for a few seconds then went to negitive so I went to the doctor got a blood test and it came back negitive, I went to the washroom this evening and there was a very little bit of blood in my discharge, does this mean I got my period or am I pregnant? I have felt morning sickness here and there but not on a daily basis and my br___t were tender on the days I was supposed to get my period? so I really don't know what to think I don't want to keep my hopes up but don't know how else to think right now =(

WEll, if a blood test confirmed that you weren't pg, then I would have to agree with that. You could always go back for another, but they're very accurate. I'd say your period is just being weird this month. Which sometimes happens due to stress, or about a zillion other reasons. So try not to worry about it too much good luck.

You may have ovulated late casuing your period to be delayed. Repeated Negative tests including a very accurate blood test usually means "Not pregnant". Like Ashley said, if you want to try another test , you can! Good Luck

Chacha, how is a blood test confusing?

I had a blood test last year when i was preg and got neg result turned out when i tested again the following month i was 7 weeks preg so they are not always 100% if tested too early, i have also read this has happened to quite a few ladies on this site.

Yeah it happens. The key is "too early" so really there is nothing confusing about it. There is a very small percentage of women who will only get a positive like you have.
