I took a test at home and the background of the windows was pink in color. I saw a white line where the positive result should be. Does anyone know what that means?

Yes, a ehite line might mean an evaporation line. Any line that has no color to it is just an evaporation line. Some tests come defective. I would suggest you test again and if you dont want to worry about lines, you need to get one of those early results digital test that reads, "pregnant" or "not pregnant". Last moth i had something similar happen to me. I did a test and had a line with a bit of color in it. I really thought it was a a defective test so to put my mind at ease, i got a digital and took it on the afternoon. The test read "pregnant", unfortunately it ended up being a chemical pregnany. I am not trying anymore but am certainly late for my period again. I will not test till a week after though cause that was really hard on me. Take care and test again.

I tested again this morning and the same thing happened so I will wait a week and go get the digital test. I am just scared because in Jan I had a tubal pregnancy and they removed my right tube. I am starting to have the same pains again on the left side.

If you are worried about another tubal, I wouldn't wait a week I would check with your Dr. now. Some pain and twinges are normal in pregnancy so it may be nothing to worry about. A positive result would have color to the result line, if it is clear or white or whitish yellow it is a evaporation line.
