Ok, i thought you always ovulate 14 days before your period, is this true? Because i ovulated on the 14th and had spotting on the 22nd, which i thought might be implantation bleeding even though it was red. Well, i started my period on the 24th which was 10 days after i ovulated, can that happen? I've been looking on the internet and it says thats its always 14 days before your period, so i'm confused??

it differs w/every woman & sometimes every cycle. sometimes i ovulate 15 days before my period and sometimes 16 or 17 days. it's not set in stone. thats where temp charting can help you to conceive, it tells you if you are ovulating late or early and if you have a long or short luteal phase. good luck.

Fourteen days before plus or minus a couple and sometimes more. We read from women who pretty convincingly have ovulated on CD10 of 28. You may have experienced implantation spotting followed by an in-pregnancy bleed, which happens more often than most care to imagine. If you are feeling signs of pregnancy and your current "period" is not normal, try taking a home preg test first morning pee Dec 30 and again a week later to double check. Good luck!
