I M So Confused Please Help

Hello Ladies, this month, I meticulously monitored my BBT, Cervical fluid, and BBT. All three methods give me different ovulation days and I don't know what to do! It makes it so difficult to time intercourse, especially since my husband and I can only have s_x once or twice a month (I experience very painful intercourse due to my uterus being completely retroflexed backwards). So I need to know which method is the best to go by because we only have one or two good tries each month so accuracy must be right on. My CM results put ovulation at cd13-14, my OPK puts ovulation at cd17-18, and my BBT puts ovulation at cd14-15. What should I do?

Oops, I said BBT twice. I meant my BBT, cervical fluid, and OPK. :)

Hi melinda,

I really wish I could help you, have you been to see a doctor about it.

My midwife told me that BBT is not a very accurate method. I think the cm happens different for different women, so you have to know your own body to know how to track your cm, but generally O is occurs about 24 hours after your cm dries up. I think that OPKs should be the most reliable. I have been trying for a little while with no success and my dr told me to try OPKs so I am doing it for the first time this month. Good luck
