Ok.. So, I have pretty much all the symtoms... Nausea, head ache, mood swings, gas, bloating, veins on bbs, and now legs too, bbs hurt, fatigue ( even with 10 hr sleep @ nt and a nap), frequent cramping, occasional back aches, feels like my uterus is streching and pulling, increase in appet_te, (pretty much everything but spotting) Could there be anyother explaination? My period should be here around sunday or monday. I took a hpt yest with a BFN! Was it just too soon? If im NOT PREG, what else could "all" this be? Please help...

You sound like me. Although I do not have as many symptoms as you are experiencing. My period is due around Sunday or Monday. I tested last night and got a negative, but I ovulated on my 19th day of my cycle, so I really tested WAY too early. It''s being too anxious! Anyway, I was pregnant before (ended in miscarriage, unfortunately) and my lower abdomen felt exactly like how it feels right now. I can't really explain it. Kind of tight and bloated-feeling. It just feels like something is going on in/down there! Not painful, but definitely noticable.

I totally understand what you are talking about. This whole thing has been such the emotional roller coaster for me. I wont if i tested way too early too. Im currently CD25. I am going to try to hold off until tom. I have one more First Response test. Its so draining!

The reason why PMS and early pregnany symptoms are so similar is because one hormone is present during both times--progesterone. Progesterone can sometimes cause you to feel like you're pregnant, and in early pregnancy, the presence of HcG increases those symptoms and creates even more. Some people say its all in your head--I hate that saying because when your body does weird things, its not in your head, its your body doing things! What I've learned to do during TTC is to chart what symptoms I have during the 2WW and if I get a BFN, then I know during the next 2WW that, for example, tender b___sts after O is normal for me because I can look back at the past three cycles and see that I always get it. But, I can also note that pinching in my lower uterus area is NOT normal for me, so it may be a sign to look out for or research. Don't worry, its not placebo, but its us being very attentive to our bodies. Progesterone is a two faced woman in my book! On the one hand she is responsible for some PMS symptoms and on the other she's the sweet one who helps me to get pregnant! Hope this helps some and I hope you all (we all) get a BFP soon!

Hello, I know that period symptoms are almost identical to early pregancy symptoms, as with my first pregnancy, I was very sure my period was coming but was wrong! However, this doesn't feel like period symptoms. It's a pulling sensation in the uterus area. Not cramps. Not painful or uncomfortable, but it's with me pretty much all during my waking hours for the last 4 days or so. My period doesn't feel like this.
