hey everyone, my boyfriend and i are trying to get pregnant.. we were able to have s_x 2 days before i ovulated, then he had to go out of town.. but i had some brown bleeding the a few days after i ovulated.. im wondering if that could even be implantation bleeding.. ? does anyone know anything?

Implantation bleeding would not occur until THEE very earliest 6 days after ovulation. It takes the fertilized egg on average 7-10 days to reach the uterus and even longer to implant fully. I would sway more towards the spotting being ovulation spotting. Nothing to worry about and very common. Another reason could be you became irriated and during intercourse the inside of your v____a became schafed... which would cause it to bleed a bit. I know you said you are ttc though so I Good luck to you!

thank you : ) i didnt even know that it was possible to get ovluation spotting.. all i did was count 14 days after my period.. and i also heard that when your ovulating you get a slimmy discharge.. so thats what i was going by.. i hope it works

Robynn, you actually should not count 14 days after your period to find out when you ovulate. Going by CM is good but the only true way to know when you ovulate is to do your basal body temperature. The reason for this is, that ovulation can jump around your cycle depending on stress, certain foods you eat, weight, exercise levels etc. What doesnt change in your cycle is the number of days after ovulation until your next period. And you ARE right when you get the stretchy clear cervical mucous that is around the time you will ovulate (anywhere from a few days before to a few days after) Good luck to you and hopefully you won't have to deal with this obsessive ttc madness for much longer. ;)

BTW just so you know, you could have ovulated earlier than you thought and therefore it COULD technically be implantation spotting. ;) just food for thought.
