Here's my deal.....my LMP was June 8, 04 and I had unprotected s_x on June 26, 04. I have had a LOT of signs of pregnancy, as you already read in a previous post. I still havent got the blood test done yet, Its like I'm scared to ask my Dr. b/c I'm 18 and also very shy so i dont talk much, even to my Dr. ANYWAYZ. if I am pregnant I would be about maybe 13 or 12 weeks from my understanding. My left side was hurting pretty bad the last few weeks and i went to the dr. last wed and she scheduled for me to have an ultrasound today. i did however, and she didnt say anything to me about a baby, i was mainly there checking for cysts, but i'm pretty sure if she saw a baby, she would have said something. She said that my ovaries were find, but she asked me if my boyfriend and I have ever tried to get pregnant and couldnt conceive, do you know what she meant by it? and how big would your uterus possibly be if you are about 12/13 weeks??? THANK YOU FOR ANY ADVICE!!!

I think the best advice I can give you is that, shy as you are, you need to write down all the dates and symptoms and questions and worries you have BEFORE you go to the doctor. Get a friend to help you. Then hand the paper to the doctor when she asks you how you feel. Here is a link that shows the size of the uterus at different stages. At 13 weeks the uterus has grown about one third of the way from the pubic bone to the belly b___ton. http://www.gynob.com/fh.htm

actually, when you go to the doc tell them what is really going on, i'm shy to, but in order for them to know what the problem is they have to know symptoms to help diagnose, also if it was not the doc that gave the ultrasound, they can not release the info, but good luck! Just think about it we have to have pap smears and how shy is that, loosen up so you can get the info you need. Remember it is between you and the doc, they know that if they release the info that is a lawsuit, talk to them before something happens and the won't be able to say she didn't tell us.
