If I understood you right you should be about 15 dpo or 1 day late for AF. If this is the case, you should get a true answer on a HPT. However, since you are only a day late, you should get a HPT that is sensitive. If you a near a Dollar Tree or Dollar Store of some kind you could get one from there. Hope this helps!! Hey Mommy_of_1... How long are your cycles normally? It is NOT true that all women ovulate 14 days after the first day of their period. I for example have short cycles ranging from 24-25 days and ovulate on day 12-14... Other ladies have 30-35+ day cycles and ovulate anywhere from day 20 to day 30... The only way to know for sure when you ovulated is to do basal body temping. If you want more info on that let me know, but its addicting so I won't put the pressure on. If your period is late you should be able to take an FRER (I just learned the definition of this and it is First Response Early Result) pregnancy test with FMU= first morning urine. If it is negative and you still haven't gotten your period I would try another test in about a week and if still negative with no period I would go see my doc. Hope this helps!
