Hi, I was checking my cervix and I can tell you that usually (for me) after I o, it dries up down there and my cervix closes and is low and hard. This time, however, my cervix was all over the place. At first I thought for sure that I was going to get my period because it started getting low, but it stayed in th middle and slightly open for a while. Then I started having this lotion-and that is exactly it-lotion out of a bottle-pooling around my cervix. It wasn't yellow, just enough to know that it was there. I got my +++ at 10 days post O. Hope this helps...

My b___bs are heavy, not sore, just felling big. My smell is very strong-also realllll tired!! I feel very bloated too. I am 5 weeks 1 day-I think. At the time, I knew that I was pregnant because of the way things smelled. It is really strong.

you check your cervix with your finger.to put your finger up there and feel whether it is soft ,low, high,or hard.pregnant women's cervix's are high and soft.but it's not a good sign of indicator of pregnancy.

Actually, my OBGYN said that a soft cervix is a good sign of pregnancy.

My cervix has been high and soft since my last ovualtion (9-6), I had a late period on 9/21. I was supposed to ovulate this week but I havent (no mucus changes and a negative fertility test) my b___sts are very sore and swollen. I went to my MD today, and she said that my cervix is very high and soft, with no signs of ovulation. She said that I am either pregnant or have some kind of hormonal issue going on (I had a negative urine preg. test), she said that she has also had a few patients who had negative urine and blood pregnancy tests and who were pregnant. She ordered a HCG Quant_tative(not a yes or no and actual number) blood test, she says it 100%. I am just so scared that it is a hormonal issue. I guess I will know tommorrow.

To answer the questions: to check your cervix you insert you finger inside up by your cervix, around ovulation you cervix will be soft and open, like your lips, and moist. After ovulation your cervix will be hard and dry like the tip of your nose. These signs will go along with cervical mucus signs. You will get a feel for your cervical changes after a month or two, but you will see changes. Cervical softness after ovulation, can be a good indicator of pregnancy, but not a sure thing. Baby hope.com is a great website, with a free ovulation calendar.

i'm just saying that not all women have a high soft cervix when they first find out their pregnant.therefore i don't think it's a good indicator..just like when women are wondering when they'll get ib..not all women get ib.it's just like all the other symptoms..some get it, some don't
