Irregular Periods And Possibly Pregnant HELP Please

Cassie - November 8

Hi everyone. This is my first posting. My name is Cassie. I have been spotting off and on now for a little over 3 weeks. It goes from deep brown to light brown to sometimes red staining or pink staining. I have also been having very sensitive nipples with this spotting. I am experiencing diarrhea off and on for the past week along with a runny nose, fatigue, and really bad gas with nausea. Do these sound like pregnancy symptoms? I do not get regular periods at all. Last time I had a regular period was when I was 18 and I am now 23. I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) with insulin resistance. I had a blood pregnancy test drawn last Wednesday and it came back negative. Could I be pregnant but be too early along the blood test wouldn't show it? If so, would I be having this many symptoms? How long should I wait before doing another test? I appreciate any help or advice. Thanks so much. Take care...

Ca__sie, that's too many symptoms to ignore. You don't say if the blood test was qualitative or quant_tative. The latter tells a better story. As long as you feel this way I would home test weekly. Good luck!

Hi Viv. The doctor's office did a qualitative blood test. They only do quant. if they know for sure you are pregnant. I asked for a quant but they said no and only a qual was necessary. What HPT is the best to buy? I have read first response early detection is very good, so any suggestions? Does anyone else have any advice? Thanks so much, Viv for your input. Take care...

Also, does anyone know if implantation bleeding can last a couple of weeks off and on? Thanks!!

hCG levels double every few days. Buying a super sensitive test just lets you have an answer a couple days earlier. First Response gets mentioned a lot. As far as implantation bleeding, most people here think of it as being a one time event a week or so after conception, but if you look it up on the web, it seems it can be more of a continuing process.
