Okay, this may be TMI but I have to ask. I am in second month ttc and have read in forum that too much s_x may not be good for conceiving. My DH and I have been bding every day :) Yes b/c ttc but also b/c this is the first time for us without condoms, so much better...lol. But if we are ttc should we cut back???? Thanks for any advise

Hi maddie...i'm in my first month trying to conceive. I asked my dr and he said every day was ok as long as dh's sperm count is normal...if he has a low sperm count then every other day is better. so i say keep bd'ing if everything is good! Good luck and baby dust~~

thanks celia...I gues I'll find out if dh's sperm count is normal....lol...

As long as your DH health/ sperm count is ok. I say go for it. Then there would be no pressure ttc on O days. Relax and have fun!!!! Good luck!!!!

Ejaculating everyday tends to lower sperm count. Try every other day.

I forgot to say that during ovulation I wouldn't miss a day, the egg is only viable for a short period of time. You don't want to miss your window. Are you tracking your ovulation? This is the best way to get pregnant. If you need info, on when a women ovulates let me know.

thanks for the answers. Kim I am tracking but not sure how effectively. I am using hormonal forecaster and its saying that ovulation is due for me on the 6th....

Hi maddie, like i said this is my first month ttc and charting. I think hormonal forecaster is good if you are very regular but i o'd like 4 days after the date it put in for me. I have bought the book "taking charge of your fertility" and using the info from that to chart my temps, cm and cervical position...wow it is all so confusing lol....I also am using Fertilityfriend.com to track...it pin points o day so much better than Horm forecaster. I'm 3dpo now so keeping my fingers crossed.. Good luck. Oh yeah, webmd.com also has a dr. that answer's questions on these issues, you can read from past discussions or post a question to the dr there...Hope this helps!

If you are using hormonal forecaster, then this is really accurate if used right. There is a good web site on cervical positions that may help you chart better. http://ibabydust.com/cervical.asp

Fertility friend .com is what I used to track ovulation when I was trying to conceive my second it did seem easier to use.

hi kim, with hormonal forecaster did you have to put your O date in manually? It had the 26th highlighted as my O date but going by my temp's and cm i didn't O until the 30th. It never changed on the calendar with HM. I also used FF.com and a paper chart,, i know.. lot's of charts lol but i wanted to make sure they all went along with each other. I picked up O with my paper chart and with FF.com... is there something special you have to do with HF to make it change? It showed the 30th as a day of being infertile when it was actually O day, would have missed it if i hadn't been using the other...maybe you can tell me what i did wrong with that particular program lol.. thanks!
