Morning Ladies, I decided to start a new thread because the other one was getting too long, Anyhoo I'm not gonna try this month I think I'm gonna wait cause guess what? My co-worker she just found out she is pregnant about six weeks along, the irony of it she has a little boy he is 7months old and she did NOT want to get pregnant and she IS so I am gonna wait because if she goes out on Maternity leave then we have to hire someone temp. and imagine if we were both pregnant the HORMONES!!! We sit right next to each other so that would not be good and I don't think my boss would appreciate it, although I don't see why it would matter.Anyways CONGRATULATIONS Trisha!!!! Jen I would get a blood test cause a 2 day period just doesn't sound right. Jules, start BDin girl! Mandy where've you been !! Keekee we miss you girl where are you? I hope everthing is okay. Love yall talk to you soon!!

hey alexis.. my doc wont do a blood test.. he finks its all in my head.. he told me to wait it out till my nxt af is due.. which should b around 30th march.. but then again who knows as it was 4 days late this time (if that bleed i had really was af)

Alexis - March 10

Oh, just a little insert we were both on our periods at the same time last month I guess she was more potent! Or her husbands swimmers were stronger. Just reminds me of Alanis Morisettes song isn't it Ironic dont you think? She says it should have been me. Do I sound bitter? Sorry

Don't you just hate how Dr's are sometimes I mean they are not the one's paying for it, they don't pay your insurance. Where do you live? Is it usual for them to be that way?

Pam - March 10

Alexis-----I don't know you, but I think you should try this month anyway. Your on your own agenda. Right now I have no children and I am trying for my 1st. My co-worker is also trying (she has a 14 month old at home). You can't think about the job and the boss and all that. It will all work itself out. At the end of the day when your feeling miserable and wanting that little baby, is it your job that comforts you. Is it your boss who is telling you that everything is going to be ok. I know that when and if I get preggo, my boss is going to freak, but you know what, that's life. She had her son and I am sure no one gave her Cr*p about it. You have to do what is right for you. Not anyone else. There not going to fire you for getting preggo at the same time your co-worker is. Give it a whirl this month. The irony will probably work in your favor and then you'll have to tell your boss that your preggo too. Don't worry about the hormones, your all adults right? I should probably mind my business, but if you really want this then don't let anyone or anything stop you. It's bad enought we have to wait nine months to have the baby, not to mention all the time we have to go through just to get preggo. Just my thoughts. I'll shut up now.

Jen, you probably notices that Jules and I live in South Africa, and you probably also know that our country is a bit ... er... how shall I put it ... kinda third world-ish? Sorry fellow South Africans, but it's true! (in my opinion) And if they can give us a blood test here if we demand one, surely in the UK and US they can too, even more so!? Your countries are way more "democratic" than ours! I can't understand why they don't want to give you what you ask for! Jules, I agree, if I were there I also would have phoned Jen's doctor and give him a piece of me mind! Silly man! Alexis I'm in the same boat, my work buddy is also preggo, and I'm not, and I taught her everything she knows about ttc, I coached her all the way through from when she got off the pill up to when she came in pregnant! Oh, life isn't fair! But what the heck, it just makes me stronger, so ... bring it on, baby! Cheers girls!

Hey Alexis (and girls)! I just posted in the other (old) thread a little while ago, but I'll throw in my bit here too! I've been around, but busy at home. Last week hubby & I were sick (and all weekend). This week I've been so busy trying to clean and pack - I'm leavin for NY state tomorrow night. SOOO needing a vaycay!! I'll be gone til the 21st, so I won't be here next week at all. As far as my waiting goes, nothing new there, just trying to be patient! Hopefully I'll have some sort of answers by the end of the month. Til then, I'm just going to take it easy! So, Alexis, when are you going to take up ttc again? How much of a break are you taking? Well, I'll try to check in again tomorrow before I leave. Hope you ALL are doing well!! Lots of love & BabyDust to you girls!

Jules - March 10

Hi Gals - good to have us all here - still missing KeeKee tho. Alexis - I hear ya.....but just a wicked piece of info (he he he - said with a naughty grin).....pregnancy is contagious! ;) I was at an all-girls boarding school, and when one of us got af, suddenly the whole dorm would get af! And the hormones! Wow! he he he. Anyhoo, sweets, just thought I'd tease you a bit. Imagine if you you "caught" your workmates "preggos syndrome"- I mean, you were on the same cycle last month - that was a good start ;) Okay - enough with the teasing. You know what's right for ya! Just don't be a stranger either way okay? .....Jen, I'm with Estee on this one - in our rugged 3rd world country we can demand a blood test (heck, I just walked into the blood lab the month before last and asked for one!) (and med aid paid too!) but I do believe that we are really fortunate. There are a lot in our country who don't have private med aid and have to queue for hours at government clinics where the wait is interminable and the service is poor. Estee - we are fortunate! I;m sure you'll agree ;) Lucky we don't have to have our babes at Bara, right?! Anyhoo, Jen - I hope you're okay. st keep in touch with us and we'll try to help you wait it out, okay? And maybe get a few hpts?.....Mandy - good to hear from ya! So glad you're on vaycay next week - what will you get up to in NY? You're so lucky to be getting away-am sure it'll do you much good and help with the wait! ;) Let us know when you get back okay? Maybe by then there'll have been some more BFP's or some such good news?! .....Pam, welcome to the thread. It's always good to have a refreshing opinion. And if you're also ttc, you're welcome to join the waiting list with us! ..... As for me, gals, I'm off to the doc tomorrow. New guy who I haven't seen before so I hope I like him and that he likes me (do I sound like I'm striking up a love match in the first grade here?!). Anyhoo - I think it's important. You gotta trust em ya know. But I'm still worried about this sore right b___b of mine - not happy about the localised pain that's going on, Not normal. So I hope he can check it out and put my mind at rest. The doc has an Irish name (Stuart O'Hanlon) - and I always enjoyed them Irishmen - a funny bunch! - so I'm sure we'll getalong just fine! OKey dokey - I'll sign off here - if anyone here's anything from KeeKee, let her know we miss her!!! So, as KeeKs would say "you gals are PHAT!" .....ciao for now, Muchachas xxxxx

Jules - March 10

PS - just a quickie, gals - are any of you charting on Fertility Friend dot com, by any chance? I've been doing it and it's way awesome! Let me know......

Alexis - March 10

I'm Glad to hear from all of you! Well you know what I've heard is that pregnancies come in three. But all kidding aside I am going to wait because I forgot that my aunts wedding is in 3 and a half months and I'm the Maid of honor with that and work and 2 kids I think I'm gonna wait until next year maybe in Sept. My daughter is starting kinder and my son I'm gonna put him in preschool as soon as he turns 4. So maybe next year. I will be supportive of my friend because she is not just a co-worker she is my friend. I'm happy for her, she is pretty bummed because her husband and her are not well.Sorry I'm getting long winded. Keep yall posted1

MandyD - March 10

Hey Jules - I'm visiting family in NY - pretty much my whole extended family lives there. We're taking my new nephew up to see everyone!! I can't wait - it WILL be a much needed break, and just a good time visiting with everyone. I love it there - if the job market were better, hubby & I might even think about moving there. Sure, the winters can be brutal, but the rest of the year is so beautiful, and you gotta LOVE being near family! : ) Take care gals, and I'll check back in with ya when I get back!! Ciao! Love to all!!

Jules - March 10

Ciao MandyD! Have a GREAT time (or as we say in SA...."Have a Jol !") .....Alexis, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend and her hubby. Will they be okay? Unusual that both of them are not well. Very sad. But she's lucky to have you as a friend, especially at work, where relationships can be too formal and people can be insensitive to what others are going thru. And you sound like you've thought everything thru okay - and that's a good thing. When you're ready. I'm signing off for tonight (23h23 here) so lotsa love and g'night to all o' ya. Chat layder. Jules. xxxxx

Estee P - March 11

Jules I agree, we are lucky here, there are others that aren't so lucky! I also chart on fertility friend and it IS awesome! I hope your doc is a great guy and that your b___st turn out to be just fine! Have a lovely weekend everyone (and/or break)! I'll catch up with you all next week!

Alexis - March 11

Hey Ladies TGIF!!! Well no sign of Keekee, Hope she's okay. My friend is doing better now her husband and her have talked and she is going to keep it. So I'm happy for her. I hope everything goes well for them. Mandy have a great time in NY. maybe you might get pregnant while on vacation. If you're not already ;) Estee have a great weekend. Jules I look forward to hearing from you. I'm gonna be busy this weekend having a shindig at my house for my auntie. Her B-day party time!! Talk to you soon! Peace out :)

Jules - March 14

Hey Gals. How're you all doin? Good weekend? Alexis, how was the party? Estee? Dangled from any bungee ropes lately? ;) I know Mandy is away - Kee Kee is nowhere to be seen - Jen? Wazzup gal?......oh well, we had a good weekend painting our spare bedroom and tossing out old junk (a real spring clean in preparation for Winter!). And I went to see my new obgyn on Friday. He's very nice. But bad news - I have PCOS again! We don't even know if I'm ovulating. Bummer. So I did a barrage of blood tests to determine hormone levels, etc. And I have to go on Wednesday for an Ultrasound on my b___st as he's not happy about the lump there. Neither am I - I am in such pain! My neck, arms, pits and back all hurt! Anyhoo - I'm just praying that they'll find out what's wrong quickly and that they won't need to do the biopsy on my b___st (as they said they might, depending on what they see on the U/S). So I'm a little bummed at the mo. But all thes things for a reason right? Anyhoo - will catch up with all ya ladies later. Hope you're all okay. I send Big Loves and hope that we hear from KeeKee soon. Ciao for now Jules.
