Just Need A Bit Of Insight

Hi ladies. This isn't a pregnancy question; but I figured what better place to discuss female issues than with females!? Anyway, my AF started on May 2 and ended May 7. But since then, I've still been experiencing AF cramps. I know it isn't gas-- and I've ruled out dysmenhorria and endometriosis and, well, pregnancy. But the cramping is dull and occurs intermittently throughout the day. I keep feeling like I should put on a pad! Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It could be possible that you have a cyst. Where exactly is the pain located? More in the ovary region or down near the v____a?? Explain more of what it feels like...a dull ache or sharp pain??

It could just be cramps leading up to ovulation. It's not unheard of to have them in the days leading up. As Amber said, it also could be a cyst. Is it one-sided?

Hey, sorry it's taken me a while to respond. The cramping isn't one-sided. It feels EXACTLY like af cramps-- not similar, EXACTLY like it. It is a centralized cramping in [what I believe to be] my uterus (again, like af cramping. There really is no other way to describe it. Today I'm not experiencing any cramping, but I have been experiencing pretty painful gas and the sensation to urinate (although not an urgency) more frequently.

Also, I neglected to mention that my ovulation cramps (an occurrence I just started noticing 2 mos. ago) are very different that my AF cramps. The [ovulation] cramps are always on one side or the other. And it feels like palpitations (if that's an accurate term to use), in which it just feels like there is some "activity" taking place. Anyway, my body is tripping me out. I'd go see an obygn, but I just haven't had the time.
