Just Want Someone To Talk To

I'm not sure if I am pregnant or not - have symptoms but multiple negative tests. This is a hard thing to go through until I know for sure. I would just like someone to talk to until I know for sure - or until I have something else to talk about! (Hopefully)

I know how you feel. The waiting game isn't fun. Keep yourself busy by looking up baby name websites, imagining what the nursery will look like, looking on the web at maternity clothes, etc. Believe me, it helps. That's how I kept myself busy during the TTC days. Also, coming on here is a big help too. Right now, I am fresh from 2 miscarriages, therefore, I am having to put TTC on hold for a month or 2. In the meantime, I come on here and try to learn things for myself, and I try to help other people. Keep your chin up girlfriend! It will happen sooner than you think. By the way, when do you think you conceived? Is your expected period approaching soon?

I am a week late and have been having minor symptoms but like I said negative tests. I am going to the docs on Wed. Reading some of the posts have helped but it also makes me even more confused as to whether or not I am preg. Thanks for taking the time to reply! Do pregnancy symptoms occur every day or can you go without feeling them sometimes?

most definitely you can go days without anything, and then have something out of the blue. with my first son, it was off and on. when it was on, it was really on! But i did get relief sometimes. If you've been reading around, you may have seen me say this, but it took me nearly 2 weeks after my missed period to get a faint positive, so don't worry. I'm glad you're seeing the doc. Is he going to do a quant_tative blood test? If so, that will tell you how much hcg you have in your system, if you are indeed preggo. Good luck, and please come back and fill us in!

Sometimes I am so positive that I am pregnant but this last couple of days I think it is all in my head because I haven't had any symptoms! I'm affraid to go to the doc and be disappointed. Yesterday my face exploded in acne, which sucks, I've never had perfect skin but it has never done that either. Usually I break out about a week before my period but like I said this is different - so I don't know if this is another symptom or just a sign of my late friend.

Try not to worry. If it is uncommon for you to be a week late, you probably are pregnant. Just one more day and you'll know. Try to keep yourself busy today or you'll drive yourself crazy. Bake a cake. That always makes me feel better. :o) And by the way, symptoms are sometimes sporadic. They can come and go, so just because you aren't having as many symptoms today doesn't necessarily mean anything. Let us know how everything goes!

Thanks a lot - I know I sound whiney but I guess I kind of am now =) I'm glad I found this site and people who know what they're talking about (cause lord knows I don't)! Well I am at work today so that should keep me pretty busy!

Just wanted to tell you that you are not whiney at all! We gotta all stick together... those of us that have been pregnant, are pregnant, and are trying to get pregnant. Best of luck and hope to hear from you tomorrow!

Hey m, got another question for you, I asked this under my other name ali, you may have already seen it. Anyway, I stopped taking the pill at the beginning of July, and since then (other than now) my period was regular. If coming off of the pill was going to cause irregular periods, wouldn't that have started immediately after as opposed to 4 months later?

That sounds logical to me. Because when I have came off of the pill in the past, the first month is regular, but then that's it. It's like the pill had my body in motion so it went ahead with that first month, then slacked off. So it's just a guess, but I would think yes, if it was going to be irregular, you would have seen signs by now. :o)
