KY Jelly is not a spermicide but it is not sperm friendly. It acts as a barrier for sperm preventing them from making it to the egg. There are lots of other lubricants out there but if you are looking for one that is sperm friendly, try preseed. It can be purchased from early-pregnancy-tests.com I love it!

I've never seen it sold in a pharmacy. Even if it was, the price would probably be sky high. You're better off buying it online anyway.

They have a list of pharmacies on the pre seed website (Http://www.preseed.com). Just click on pharmacy outlets but I agree with Lin that the prices are sky high. I got mine from a pharmacy for more than double the price on the website.

I've heard quite a few women swear by egg whites. I've never tried it, but I'm sure it couldn't hurt. Good luck and baby dust!

I've heard about eggwhites too... but I definitly wouldn't recommend it even if it is high successful why would you want to risk an infection i would think that you could get some serious infection all the way into the uterus which would be harmful to the baby... i'm not a doctor but it just seems to me like it could be a bad idea. i just bought some preseed, dh and i had been using flavored motion lotion.... probably a bad idea when ttc, so now i'm just waiting for it to come in the mail
