Hi girls...I thought I would start us off on a new thread since Becca asked so nicely, :) I won't be leaving this site...I too have ventured out a bit on the forum just to fine out you guys are the BEST! Becca I know EXACTLY how you feel. That was me while I was waiting to detox and couldn't try. I saw shows and teared up or saw babies and lost it. You WILL have a baby! Things just ahve to all be lined up for you...and they are doing just that. The mere fact we have spoken and you are aware of your job situation is HUGE! Now you have the power to change something you know could potentially be harmful. It will happen I just know it! So who are we waiting for to test soon? Good night ladies!

Stef - thats a really nice thing to say..... Well after posting last night, and my faint +............ I retested this morning with fr, needless to say bfn. So I dont think I'll be celebrating yet! I'll just have to wait for af. Dh is gutted!!! My temp is still 99f. i have no symptoms of af or pregnancy at the moment. Just slightly acidy but I was like it last month and wasnt prg. Anyways I'll keep you posted :(

maddie - October 11

Debs sorry, but do wait and see. Becca and Staci I will be waiting again next month I feel. :( My temp had not moved since o. I read another post here and they said no o without temp spike? I will wait, I am thinking maybe b/c temp went from 80 to 50 at night. It is soooo cold here. Brought a blanket this am to train station to wait with..lol....have a great day all.

Stef – that was so sweet (please don’t make me cry) I am so emotional…… Debs sorry to hear that; try to wait & see if AF comes. (If you cant wait) (: – Good luck….Staci – good luck, I hope AF stay away. Maddie- just keep bd, who knows what the end of the month might bring. Becca- You’re family now, (she’s one of us) I’m glad you are around. Save me some dinner…lol Bean – I think I got Pamela beat this month, my b___bs have jumped from a “B” to a “DD”. – That’s good right. I sure hope I accomplished a BFP this month. If I don’t me and DH are both making an appointment to see a fertility specialist. No symptoms just my b___bs being swollen and a little sore. Also, I always have a white discharge after O, but it’s a dull looking white. I noticed this morning that I have a pure white discharge and its real thick. & I have been having headaches here and there….. I know my diet has gone to hell; I couldn’t give up my honey buns and milk. Still exercising daily… I praying that we all will get BFP’s real soon…. Every body have a good one!!!!!!

Sorry girls - I didn't see that Stef had started Part 18 and our Part 17 had fallen off the page, so I created another part 18. Man!!! Don't respond to that one - wrong thread!

bean - October 11

Angie - glad you're exercising daily! And wow - double D, huh? :) I'm just proud of my A+ or so... Debs - those tests can be really finicky. When is af due? Are you late yet? Your temps are still high which is a really good sign! Maddie - you're just full of suspense. You have signs pointing in all directions! It'll be exciting to see what happens in a week. I'm cheering for you!!!

Morning girls! Any new news from anyone? Becca - I actually and waiting to O again - got a BFN and then AF came an hour later on Sunday - but I am taking a different approach this month. So we shall see. Glad you are sticking around!!! How is the job hunt going?

Amanda - October 11

Hi ladies! Do you mind if I wait with y'all? I just got my af on Sunday. This will be my 2nd month ttc. Last month was my 1st month off the pill and my cycle was 5 weeks. Anyway, are any of you charting or doing opk's? I want to try something this month but am not sure what to do.

Jennifer - October 11

Hi Amanda! Welcome! Last month was my first month charting and temping and I did use an opk and it was bfp - but no luck! This month I am going to just take it easy this month and enjoy bd'ing as often as possible after AF and see what happens!

Debs - October 11

Af due thursday and I'm never late........ apart from being prg. I m/c the last 2. I think that's why I fret so.Drs said as soon as I get a bfp I have to have regular blood tests to track hcg to make sure everything is ok :)

bean - October 11

Good luck Debs! Only 2 more days! Welcome Amanda! May I offer some advice? If this is going to just be month 2 for you ttc, I would recommend that you don't start charting or using opk's just yet. We've (girls on this thread) found that the results are very difficult to interpret and sometimes I think they cause undo stress and anxiety. Maybe just try following your cm and bd a lot around the fertile time. Remember it can take a while for the pill to get out of your system. It took me 2 months before I felt it go away - and the month that I know was my first "clean" month I was certain I was pg! The "signs" (tiredness, sore bbs, etc) were so similar to pg signs, and very unlike what I had with my af on the pill. Keep a notebook or calendar - whatever works - with your af dates so you know what cd you're on and know when you can begin testing. But please don't let this get you stressed out. Those of us that are pg - it took us I'm guestimating an average of 6 months. Baby dust!!!

Amanda - October 11

Jennifer and Bean, thanks for the welcoming and the advice. I always keep track in my calender of when I start my period. I will now keep track of days and my cm. My mom said that when she got pregnant she waited one cycle after getting off the pill and then got pregnant in month two just by watching her cm and temp. I am not stressing about it. I am in no big hurry really. It will happen when it happens.

Do any of the preggo’s remember their CP before you found out you were pregnant? & did you get af cramps early after O.

Stef - October 11

Good morning ladies! Debs don't give up yet. Like Bean said those tests are really finicky. If you have a really low preg horm it could miss it. Give you an example. I took the test (at home) and saw a faint line. When I went to the doc they took blood and a pee test. The pee test came back NOT pregnant...and the blood came back BFP. My doc said it really depends on the test you take. The ones at the doc will only test BFP if you have 50 preg horm I was at 39 Fri...but now I am at 120 so it would test BFP now. Why mine at home game me a faint line is beyond me. Must have picked up a lower number. So don't give up yet! Maddie~ there is a great bookCalled the Wise Women Herbal for the Child Bearing Year...actually it would be a good read for everyone. But there was some really intersting info on ovualtion and light and herbs. I know I added some herb teas to my last try and got a BFP. So don't know if it helped or not, but here we are! Angie sound like a BFP is on the way. When are you testing? Bean how far along are you again? Sorry...so many paths to keep track of. How are you feeling? welcome Amanda! Where is everyone located...in the US? That might be fun to know. I feel like I know you gals. I chat with you more than my friends here. :) Happy Tuesday all.

Debs, I'm hoping for you! Such a rollercoaster, isn't it? Staci, yep, time spent on the belly is brief, but I imagine my days of getting into that position at all are growing short! Are you testing again soon? Stef, at 4-6wks I wasn't feeling too much....tender bbs, and yes, that does seem to vary as time goes along. Some days are more tender than others. I don't think it was until week 8 that I started to feel sick and really, really pooped. I live in Palmer, Alaska....about an hour NE of Anchorage. I'm definitely up for dinner at Becca's. Then dumplings at Staci's! mmmmmmm...... Becca, how is the job search going? Finding interesting possibilities? Ang, I didn't pay attention to my cp, but yep, I did have very early cramps after O..... they were odd because they would have been way early to be af cramps. For some reason, O pains that month were especially intense. Don't know what that was about, but a happy little egg sure popped out ready to meet up with a little swimmer! I'm headed to my next appt tomorrow and can't wait for another peek at the little one!
