Ok girls, so I went in to the Dr. on Monday and just found out that I have an endometrial tumor the size of an orange on my right ovary that could have possibly spread throughout my entire ovary and he said there is a very good possibilty that he will have to remove my entire right ovary. I just dont know what to think, has anyone ever had this? What is my fertility going to be like after this? My husband and I want to have a 3rd child, I am just totally lost, HELP!!!

i haven't personally experienced this, but an acquaintance of mine did several years ago (she was in her mid-20's when it happened). size of an orange and everything. had it removed (not the ovary, however), and gave birth to her first son last month without any problems. i don't know her well enough to find out any more details, but i do hope that this will help ease your fears somewhat. and don't take this the wrong way, but be grateful that you have had 2 children before this showed up.

Thank you haleywonder, and yes I am very grateful for my 2 beautiful children. I love hearing success stories, it makes me feel alot better about all of this!
