Are you preggers??? Peeped your chart and saw you didnt go down in temp yet and no AF!! Hoping for ya girl!!

Thanks, Jeanette! I swear my body is playing tricks on me. I've taken three tests in the past four days, and none of them are convincing. I honestly think they're all just evaps, because I've had evaps before and they look just like them. None of them have been anything more than a "shadow" during the test time (that I could only see at certain angles) and only developed very, very faint lines afterward. This is really frustrating, because my temp has never stayed up for this long. It normally stays high until cd 14, starts dropping on cd 15 and af arrives on cd 16. One month my temp was up until cd 16 and dropped with the arrival of af on cd 17. If it's still up tomorrow, then I might do a digital test I've been saving or call my doctor, but I really am expecting it to drop. I really don't think I'm pregnant, but I just don't know what to think. I'm confused.

I'm beginning to wonder if my ovulation day is wrong.

tish - April 24

hhhhhmmmmm, interesting, well, i will keep my fingers crossed for you. i live vicariously through all of the bfp's on this site. so you have been trying for 6 months right? what makes you think you are not pregnant?

Lin - April 24

I just don't feel like I am - no signs at all - and I have a hard time believing that I wouldn't get an obvious bfp by 17 dpo.

tish - April 24

ok, when you post things on ff, does it allways put it a day forward? i have been putting things in today and every time i put something in on a specific date, ff moves it to the following day.

tish - April 24

yeah, i see, but you never know. i know you probably don't want to get you hopes up, which is a good idea. i am not so good at that.

Lin - April 24

I *hate* getting my hopes up. My body went so nutso after quitting the bcp and was different every month. I spent the first few months getting myself overly excited about every new "sign," and I'm just sick of it. I'm still a testaholic, but I'm a lot more skeptical about actually being pregnant - especially without a bfp.

tish - April 24

i'm a testaholic too, only i never knew you could buy cheepies at the dollar tree, or online until a fewe weeks ago and so i was spending a ton on the first response tests. and i am not very good at not reading too much into things.

Lin - April 24

How long have you been trying? Were you on birth control before?

Emma2 - April 24

Lin.......my friend has just found out she was pregnant and had the faintest line you can imagine. And we tested with a different brand and got a positive right away.......Are you late for your period though?

tish - April 24

it depends on how you look at it. i have been technicaly trying for 19 months, but i only count 13 months because that is when i started to take prenatals, and use opk's and track how often we gof and all that jazz. but i only started temping in november after my m/c.

Lin - April 24

Yes, at the moment I'm one day late. My period normally starts at 16 dpo, but today is 17 dpo. That said, I did have one period not start until 17 dpo. That time, my temp dropped that morning, and when I checked my cervix the two days before that there was blood (that just didn't make its way out) and it was soft and open. Right now my cervix is still closed, and there's no sign of blood. Ugh, I'm confused.

Lin - April 24

Wow tish, that's a long time. Have you seen a fertility specialist yet?

Emma2 - April 24

Lin, oh boy sounds better and better....Are you testing with the same test all the time? About the symtoms you and I know best that really there are no symptoms most times this early.......Oh boy I am so nervous for you!
