Lin, how's things today ? Any sign of af? are those temps still up ? let me know !!

Hey, Chas, thanks for asking! No sign of af, but my temp went down 0.1 to 98.6 today. I know that isn't much, but given my normally ultra-steady temps and the fact that I just got a bfn, I'm guessing that's the start of the decline. :-( That means I'm out for next month, too, since I'll be out of town at O-time this month. Of course, I'll still follow everyone else to see how they go. So, how are you going? Any symptoms? Any lack of symptoms? Any obvious pms signs?

well, my b___bs are a little sore. No cramps yet. I really have no idea if it's pms or what. Guess i'll find out in a few more days. Too bad about the temp decline :( Keep in touch

Just a question for you ladies--I saw you talking about higher temps and I had what I think may have been IB 3days ago (just a little pink cm on tp) and have had no other sign of AF and ever since my temp went up to about 99.3-99.5 It has stayed up steadily for the last 3days. And I've been really tired and peeing alot but no sore bbs. What do you think? Sorry to jump in on your thread I just thought you may know something about the high temps. Thanks

Well, that certainly sounds good. How many dpo are you? If your temp stays up until 18 dpo, then chances are you're pregnant. Good luck to both of you!!!

Hi, according to my chart, which is really up in the air - (I had a m/c dec 30th) so I don't really know if its right or not- but according to all month of charting I'm about 5 or 6dpo.

but I think I'm more like 8dpo

I would guess that the spotting you had was probably ovulation spotting, not IB. Sometimes it takes some time to come out, and that's quite early for IB. It's probably not impossible but unlikely. I don't mean to be a big bummer, but I just don't want to get your hopes up. That is not to say you couldn't be pregnant this month, just that the spotting may not be indicative of it. Are you charting on Fertility Friend? If so, then post your chart. Here's mine: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/lin

Well, I started charting around the middle of the month-and started out just going by cm and keeping track of when we had s_x and didn't start with temps really I just noticed that I've had a slight fever the last 3days and that was right after that spotting....so I thought maybe. Plus I had a fever for the 2wks before I got a bfp last time when I was pg. But my chart is quite messed up as this was my first month trying and I have special circ_mstances w/ the m/c so not sure what to expect. So I don't think anyone would be able to make heads or tails of it since I've only been doing it kinda half-heartedly.

Are you using a basal thermometer before you get out of bed in the morning, or are you just taking your temperature with a regular thermometer at any time of the day? Either way, you will always see an increase in temperature immediately following ovulation. The only difference when you're pregnant is that the high temps should continue well beyond your expected af date. You might see a second increase in temperature after implantation, but high temps alone are not necessarily indicative of pregnancy. In addition, as second temp increase does not mean pregnancy either. I've had a second temp increase for the last two months. If, however, your basal temp remains high for 18 days or more past ovualtion, then THAT is indicative of pregnancy - but it must be your basal temp (i.e. start of day temp before moving, eating, drinking, etc.). Good luck!!!
