Here is the new thread guys!! Sorry it took me so long after my last post I had to bring the kids downstairs into their playroom.

Kristi - I think it's definitely too soon to test. Wait a little bit and don't let that BFN get you down because it doesn't mean anything yet.

Thank you Megan, I was pretty bummed! How are you? How many dpo's are you now?

Megan - January 13

I'm 4dpo and feeling nothing really yet. But I'm reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and came across a paragraph and I though of you. Here it is: One of the reasons for "false negative" pregnancy tests is tht the test is often done too soon, before the egg has had a chance to implant and start releasing HCG, or before the HCG has had time to reach a high-enough level to be detected in the urine or bloodstream.

I will probably test anyway in a few days unless AF comes on strong. I did have some AF like cramps tonight, but only a little brownish discharge. We shall see! DD and I are going to see Dora's Pirate Adventure tomorrow for her birthday so AF will probably come on strong tomorrow.

kristi74 - January 14

Thanks Megan! I really appreciate the encouragement. I guess I just thought this might be my month, so I really hoped to see a line. (as we all do...) Anyway, I will wait a few more days and test again. Maybe I will even wait to see if AF arrives on Tuesday. That might be better than wasting tests. Anyway, I am hoping for the best for everyone!

coxm3 - January 14

Still no AF as of this morning. No spotting either, YET. Maybe there is still hope? Probably not. My temperature did go up this morning, but I have nothing to compare it to other than the 3 temps I have taken so far. My temp dipped yesterday, but its back up. I am just SO confused. Praying for all of us!

Megan - January 14

Good morning! After reading some more last night I've convinced that I have to start temping. Where can you buy a basal digital thermometer? Would a regular drugstore have it?

jeanette - January 14

Megan, walmart has them too for about $9.00

coxm3 - January 14

I bought mine at WalMart as Jeanette said.

Hi everyone! I am leaving for a weekend trip - I wish everyone the best of luck! I can't wait to hear what has happened when I come back Monday! I hope for all BFP's in this group!!

twotimesthecharm - January 14

Found the new thread, I am here girls. Well for me I am either 14DPO or 11DPO according to FF. I had b/w done today so I am hoping that I call the doc's office on Monday and will have a conclusive BFP. I am on CD25 and FF says my chart went triphasic on CD22, so I am hoping that it is because of implantation and not this congestion that I have had for the past 2 days. My temps this morning was 99.3 which is very high. Since the dipped my temps went down to 98.7 and then jumped to 99.1, 99.2 for 2 days and today 99.3. I will keep you all posted. When will you all start testing? Coxm3 I really think for sure that you should test soon. Megan is that book a good book to read? I was thinking about buying that one and " What to Expect When Expecting". Kristi74 don't be so bummed out I think that it was too early, your BFP is coming. Krista how are you? I believe your chart was triphasic, did you test yet. What website are you all using to post your temps FF or Ovusoft?

coxm3 - January 14

Twotimes I am REALLY praying for you! I hope you get the BFP! Have you tested with a HPT? I was congested in the beginning and at the end with my DD so I think can could be a good sign. "What to Expect When You are Expecting" is an absolutely wonderful book to read. VERY helpful. I had some spotting this afternoon, but still no red blood since the very first day and that was only 1 spot. I am DREADING testing. I want so bad to have a BFP (as I am sure we all do). Hope you have a good trip Kristi

Megan - January 14

Hi ladies! Things are looking pretty good for you twotimes! I pray that this is the month for you! It is a good book and I think every woman in their twenties should read it. It talks about what exactly happens when your ttc and when you get pregnant and how you need to look for your fertile signs (temping, cm and your cervical position). Lots of things I never even knew about. And it goes into how sometimes you can O later and some causes of infertility. You should borrow it from your library, that's what I did. I find it very fascinating and that's what convinced me to start temping. Jeanette, Cox, I'm going to Walmart tomorrow to pick up my thermometer. It's such a big store, can you tell me in what aisle your purchased it? I have no idea of where to look. Is it where the regular thermometers are or is it in the Feminine Aisle? Thanks!

coxm3 - January 14

Actually I think I got mine on like an end cap. You know at the end of an aisle on a little hanging thing. However, I believe they are in the pharmacy section with the other thermometers.

jeanette - January 14

Hey Megan....yes, close to the pharmacy. It was with the other digital thermometers and across from the hpts and opks. Of course, your store may be set up different. You can ask the pharmacist too.

krista - January 14

hi kristi, well my temps went way down then up a little bit this morning. no triphasic for me as of now anyways. yours sounds awesome though! yeah for you! i hope you are pg! only a week left until i can test! i hope i get good news this weekend so bad. i'll be at a birthday party where there will be lots of drinking. if i get a neg hpt should i trust it if i still dont have af by that day which will be 15 dpo? should i just not drink until i know for sure either way??? i wouldnt think 15 dpo is too early. ff is telling me to test then too i think. i so nervous i'll get a bfn, i hate them d__n things!
