Long Af Will It Affect Ovulation

I started af on the 19th and it is day 7 now. It's not heavy anymore one pad per day but I don't know if this will mess up my ovulation day. I have 28 day cycles and usually last 5-6 days but it seems like this will not be the last day maybe 2 days more since it seems af has not let up. I thought I had concieved this month but got af and now i am convinced it was probably a chemical pregnancy and could this be the reason that it is longer than usual? I am confused has anyone ever had this happen?

Melissa, if it was longer and heavier than usual, then it's possible you had a chemical pregnancy. I don't know if that would delay the next ovulation, but I do know that a longer period by itself does not necessarily mean delayed ovulation. You could even find that you go from spotting right into ovulation. Sometimes things just seem to work out this way. If you're normally really regular, chances are good that things will normalize soon.
