This'll sound bizarre. I havgetting a few signs, more cm, temp high, dizziness, sleepiness and I'm due AF today but not here yet. HOWEVER, last wkend I had a metallic taste in my mouth constantly it went away about Tuesday. Today I have the strangest taste in my mouth like I've been eating lots of Lovehearts or Refreshers- some kind of Swizzels sweety. I have not eaten any of those in a l-o-n-g time so where is this coming from? I haven't eaten or drunk anything so far today. Just brushed my teeth with minty colgate! Any idea if this is a sign or am I going crazy? Imust say it's a very likeable taste, very pleasant! xxxx

Okay, I had some lunch there. Just a vanilla muller rice and a small gla__s of diet coke. Now the taste I described is more than twice as strong and I feel kinda like I might throw up. Please, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated right now. Thanks girls x

Hey Cheryl - well, I've never been preggos before but I have read here that lots of women complain about a metallic taste in their mouth early on in pregnancy. And, obviously, the fct that you feel sick after eating is another (positive) sign! (depends, hey?!) Have you had excess saliva? Do you feel like you wanna spit all the time? I've heard that a lot too. How many dpo are you? When is your af due?

Hi Jules, thanks for answering. I do have a bit more saliva than normal now you mention it. I should have ovulated about 2 weeks ago, I don't chart it very well. I am due for a visit from AF today which is why I'm wondering. Sickness feeling seems to have gone for now but there's still a bizarre taste of sweets- it's really strange. Oh, I'll need to hope for the luck of the Irish today I guess! Happy St Paddy's day xxxx

And a Happy St Paddy's to you too! Maybe this IS it for you? (Sorry, I see you did give your dates in your first post). Have you tried any tests as yet? Perhaps a sensitive one that will pick up from first day of missed af? I send you ALL the luck of the Irish ;) (Are you Irish btw?) (I'm from South Africa but my doc is Irish!) I shoulda wished him too.....

I tried a test a few days ago but it was negative, would've been too early anyway I s'pose. I'm going to give it a couple of days cos I've got one test left. I am in Glasgow, Scotland and people mistake my accent for Irish all the time which is funny. I guess my accent just isn't rough enough to sound Scottish! My boyfriend's family are Irish though so there is a link there- and Ireland's just over the water from me anyway geographically speaking! Lol! xxx

Hey Cheryl - well I guess you HAVE the luck of the Irish, right? (with your bf being Irish!) He he. My gran's side of the family were all Scottish and I'd love to visit there (after all the stories she's told me!) And I have friends who emigrated from SA to Scotland a few years back and are loving it there! I envy you - tho it must be quite chilly there now ;) Anyhoo - all the best with your testing. I do believe that you may have tested too soon before.....counting down the days with you! All the best!!! Regards, Jules

Aaaww, thank you so much! it is lovely here, you should visit sometime. it is sunny today but there are clouds threatening to ruin that. I have a couple of friends from South africa too (spooky eh?) I envy you. We should just house swap and have done with it! He he! I'm quite lucky i guess, only ever about 30 mins from the coast where I live. It is chilly but it's picturesque which makes up for it! Ihave to go to work now but I will speak to you soon babes and keep you updated. Thank you again, and CELTIC BABY DUST to you too!! xoxoxoxox

Thanks, Cheryl - and to you! Please keep us posted (and perhaps we could talk about who those friends are- the world is smaller than we know!) ;) Sending baby 'Nessies your way ;) (Just perhaps more cuddly ones!)
