Low Fat Icecream Study Infertility

Yesterday on the view they made a comment about a study which showed that women who ate lowfat icecream are more likely to have fertility issues. Don't know how true this is, but worth investigating.

According to the study, women who have fertility problems based on lack of ovulation benefitted from eating ice cream with fat, since women need some amount of fat and protein to ovulate on their own (one reason they say to not do hardcore dieting while ttc). The same benefit could be derived from drinking whole milk or other dairy products with decent fat content. Unfortunately, if your cycles are already normal and you're ovulating on your own, it's unlikely to help in any way. Plus, my guess is that there's a fine line between eating just enough to aid ovulation, and eating too much to where it winds up having a negative impact on fertility. Regardless, it's an interesting (if controversial) study!
