I got my period 10 days after I ovulated. Is that a long enough luteal phase to become pregnant? I don't know if this is normal for me b/c this was the first month I started using opk and the first month that I know for sure when I ovulated.

I´ve read that you need a 10 day luteal phase to be able to support pregnancy/ implantation. I also found out this month through charting my temps that my luteal phase may be short. I ovulated on 21st feb and am due for af on March 4th. I have serious period pains and had s_x before and during ovulation but now dont think that I can get preg due to luteal phase :( Maybe thats why I havent been able to concieve in 34 months!!!!!

I am so sorry to hear that you've been trying for 34 months. Has your doctor talked to you about luteal phase deficiency and what can be done about it? We've only been trying for 9 months and my doctor won't do anything until after 1 year.

I live in spain and here they dont really seem to care. Ive been looked at but they say everything looks normal and that when I really want a baby they will do tests. I´ve been pregnant before with my current boyfriend but had a miscarriage at 4 weeks and have been trying since. Oh well!!!
