Luteal Phase And Temps

How long are you luteal phases? I have had 13 days of high temps and they just keep getting higher!!! My temp this morn was 98.2 and 99.2 this pm. We had unprotected s_x on 4/30, which was the second morning of my high temps. Could I be pg? We aren't really ttcing right now but I am beginning to wonder. I know if I get to 18 dpo with high temps then I should test. Just wondering what you all think. Thanks in advance.

Evening temps mean absolutely nothing. As for your morning temps, they only mean something if you take them before you do anything else, including getting out of bed or eating or drinking anything. Your temps should stay high for your entire luteal phase - so 12-16 days. If you had unprotected s_x on the second morning of high temps, then it is *highly* unlikely to lead to pregnancy. Your temp goes up the day after you ovulate, and the egg is only available to be fertilized for 12-24 hours after ovulation. Therefore, the second day of high temps was too late.

Of course, my post above a__sumes that you are referring to your basal temps and not just any old temps.
