Missed A Pill

I'm currently taking BC pills and I missed a pill April 24th and was late with a couple others during the 23-26, due to being extremely busy and just forgetting. I was very upset with myself because I went to visit my boyfriend that weekend, april 27 - may 1 (long distance relationship). My cycle is 28 days long and my period came on April 13th so that would make my ovulation date the 27th. My boyfriend and I had s_x many times on the 27th and didn't use a condom one of the times, however he came in me. What are the chances that I could be pregnant from the poor pill taking that week?

Being late with your pills is usually not a big problem unless you're taking progesterone-only pills, such as micronor, that work in a different way (i.e. they build up a gel-like cm barrier rather than preventing ovulation). Missing a pill is, of course, a different story and is highly dependent on your individual physiology. For most women, skipping a pill now and again doesn't lessen the effect of it at all, but for a few women it does. There is no way of knowing which of those women you are, so you might want to take a pregnancy test the day your period is due if it doesn't show up. It's unlikely that you're pregnant, but it is not outside the realm of possibility. Best of luck!

Thanks, I highly doubt I am pregnant, but was just curious as to what other people thought about the situation.

AF arrived today, no baby (yay for now). Too young to start a family, hence the double protection. Although children are little blessings, it's just not the time for me. Good luck to the rest of you trying to conceive!
