I hope I don't sound stupid, but I read on a few sites about these montgomery tubercles being on the areola. I noticed how "noticeable" they are, but don't remember what they looked like before. I my point is that I never really examine my br___t closely enough looking for the these things until I read about it. So I just want to know when you're not pregnant, are they that noticeable? I hope I make some sense....

I'm 16wks along and I haven't really noticed any change in these bumps. They are the same as before I was pg. If anything, its more the nipple that gets darker and redder I've noticed and my b___sts are bigger.

They are sweat type glands that are always there. For some they are always noticeable, and for others not. Change is what counts. If you were not paying attention before, what they are like now may not count. Good luck!
