I saw you were talking on another thread about your iud and how it messed up your cycles. I also had an iud but my cycles went back to normal after the first 2 months. This is my 11th cycle since I had it taken out and still nothing. My question is was this your first time useing the iud or did you have with your other 2 kids? And if so did it take a long time to become pg with them.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back but I usually only check in the morning before the kids awake. This was my first time using it. I had for about 2 1/2 years. I think I may have gotten pg the month it was removed but m/c at 5.5 weeks. The period after that was very long, 73 days so my body was way off. I noticed I was more regular on the IUD, which made me very happy because I was thinking I would get pg very easy. When I saw the doc she said that it can cause the lining to thin out so she put me on Provera for the first 10 days of my cycle, it was that or bcp's which wouldn't let us try during this time but I think the provera makes my cycle a bit longer. I have an appointment next week so I'm hoping she will do something else. I also have endo and husband had a low sperm count the one time we tested so those may be affecting me. It took 3 years of just letting it happen to get my ds, but we were both either military or in school so time together was few and far between. It took 2 months to get my dd so needless to say I'm very unhappy about the lenght of time this is taking. I hope I have made sense and was able to help some. I'm having my usual AF arrived gla__s of wine so my mind is not all here. Have a good day!
