Hi all, as some of you know I got my BFP a couple days ago. However this morning I started spotting Some brown and some pink and red. Not sure what to think of this. AF is due tomorrow which is normally very H-E-A-V-Y! Can this be AF? What does that mean for my BFP? I am being very open minded about the whole thing because there is always next month :) However if this is my very light AF, how did I get a BFP? Any thoughts? Thanks so much in advance!

Hi AA, I had a little spotting as well. I went to the doctor and everything was ok. He said to just take it easy, if you are getting really bad cramps it is worse. You could go in to see a doctor - they will probably check you over and tell you that for some people it is normal to have bleeding early on. Both of my aunts had very light periods until they were 5 months as long as there is no clots or bad cramps. GL I hope it pa__ses!!

Thanks Chrissievan! I hope its all good! Ill keep you posted. The spotting is watery as well... no cramping no clots...

lissica - January 11 mom got spotting around the time af was due when she was pregnant with me. I've also read somewhere that it's fairly commom. Best of luck!!:)

AA I also had spotting, but it was more like light pink and brown tinged cm (sorry if tmi). I am 8 1/2 weeks now and I found out that sometimes when the uterus stretches it causes that to happen just a little bit. Like the other ladies said, dont worry unless it comes with bad cramps. Good luck!

If it's at all heavy, clotting, cramping or you're just worried call or go see your doc. They'll be able to advise you or rea__sure you. Good luck!

Have you had your beta levels checked yet to see if you are doubling every 2 days thats a good sign also for a viable pregnancy also, good luck.

AA it doesnt sound like implantation spotting especially since u concieved about 14 days ago, and in which case implantation happens as early as 6 and as late as 10 or 12. Some women do have spotting the day before or the day af is due I would go to the drs and just get everything checked out. As long as its not heavy, clots, cramps, and bach aches it sounds perfectly normal. good luck

It is normal for spotting to occur within the first few months. Especially since you tested so early. It is just your body's way of getting rid of all the leftover stuff. Also, if you BDed any, that can cause it too. If it continues for more than a day or so, you might want to give the OBGYN a call just to be sure but just try to relax. Congrats on the BFP!!
