hey guys, im just wondering if af cramping can be a sign of pregnancy because i usuall dont get it much and now ive had it the past 3-4 days. my af was due 2 to 3 days ago. its still very early and could come at any time but im always right on time or even early, never late. so i was jsut wondering if anyone else has experienced any af like cramping during pregnancy

Yes I had a lot of cramping very early in my first pregnancy! If you are 2-3 days late you can take a pregnancy test by now it should show up. Good luck

Thanks amy. i was going to wait a couple more days before a test because last time my test didntshow positive until almost two weeks after my missed af and then i miscarried

hey tab, i tested yesterday and i thought it was negative but then a very very faint line came up in the positive area. I tested again this morning and it was negative but now i can see an ever lighter line than yesterday so i dont know what to think. i think i may be preggo but i dont want to get my hopes up too high. it may be too early for a positive result to show because last time when i was preg it didtn show until almost 2 weeks after af was supposed to show. so may be a faint positve this early might mean i am. good luck to you tab, let me know how you go with your test. i will keep you posted as well xx ;o)

I am pregnant and had cramps for a week before my period was due. They have susided a lot now. Lots of people seem to get them when pregnant, which is strange as they are never mentioned on those "symptoms of pregnancy lists." For me, it was my most prominent symptom. However, I don't ususally get period cramps, so there was no confusion as to whether or not they indicated pregnancy. Good Luck!!

Just saw your later entry. My first two tests were very very very very faint. I could only see the line when I tilted the test into the light. You know what they say - a line is a positive no matter how faint. It turned out true for me, a few days later and it was as dark as the control.

thanks rebecca. i dont usually get cramps either, but if i do, they are very slight and only last for a couple of hours before my period begins. these cramps felt very similar to the ones that i had with my m/c, but im not bleeding so that is a great sign i think.

Ok I will let u know... I had pulling like pains in my uterus today and it feels different, like a fullness feeling. I also became very nauseaous for a bit this evening and couldn't stand to smell anything. I am not getting my hopes up either, at least not until I get a pos test. Congrats rebecca!!! I will test wednesday, and I will let u know what I get. When will u test again?

i will probably test again on the weekend (if i can wait that long) ive sort of been nautios but not really. it just like the feeling you get when you are nervous and cant eat if u know what i mean lol. I cant stand the smell of lettuce on salad sandwiches/rolls. And this morning i went to the toilet 8 tmes in less than four hours. has slowed down this afternoon though. still no af. im really hoping this is it. i know these all sound like pretty good signs (and my faint positve results) but it just all seems to good to be true. Baby dust to the both of us. i pray this is it. ;o) xx
