One Negative One Less Negative

Hey girls. I'm a Marine Corps wife, and we're TTC before this deployment. We've had 3 miscarriages, and are currently testing this month. The first HPT was negative, bright and clear. But this morning I took another one and it's still showing negative but the line is faint (much less bright than the 1st one). Anybody experienced this? I know I'm probably just getting my hopes up, but I was wondering if any of you guys have seen this happen and it end up being positive. Maybe I'm just not giving it enough time.

First, i'm so sorry about your m/c. I think that if you took the test and looked in the correct amount of time, not like hours after, but followed the directions-like do not read after so many mins. and you got a faint line I would think it's pos. With my third the line was so faint I thought I was loosing my mind. I tood two more tests and they all showed +. The first one was just so faint b/c it was still early.

Hi. I will tell you that I also had a m/c this past summer...I wasn't too far along though...but when I got my bfp it was a plus/minus test and the minus sign showed up nice and dark (because that was the control line) but the line that would go across the minus line to make it a positive was very, very faint...like I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me faint...but it was there. I looked it up on line to find out what that meant and the test company said you can trust a very faint line most of the time. So, I tested the next day and it was still faint but a clearly there faint..as the days went on it became darker and darker. So, just test again in a few days to make sure. Good luck to you...I pray no more heart ache touches your life. :-) and you get your sweet little bundle!
