Hi Mel, Helen, and anyone who wants to join us!

Mel - November 7

Well it looks like af for everybody this month. I just did a cervix check and looks like she's on her way. It will probably be a day or two before she here all the way...but she's here :(

Amanda - November 7

Helen, okay now I can answer you. I really would like to be pregnant but you are right about the bump in my wedding. Really, I was more afraid of having morning sickness during the event. Anyway, I would be okay either way. Mel- I see that you are in the same boat as me and my man. I'm afraid that it may take us awhile too just because I have been on the pill for 8 years. I have a feeling that it may take some time for the pregnancy to stick. Plus, I think I may have missed my O this month since it may have occured the day I left for my trip. I may give it one more shot this month and then hold off until this summer. I'm talking myself into trying again. I think I am crazy!

Amanda - November 7

Sorry to hear that Mel, but maybe you'll get to give your Xmas gift now. I started spotting yesterday afternoon with the brown stuff and then after me and fiance had s_x it turned to full b__wn af. I was disappointed. Now, I have cramps and it sucks!

Mel - November 7

I was having cramps...that's what prompted me to check...oh well I'm not too surprised. You're right, this could be our Christmas presents month! I just got off the phone with my bf and we were talking about all this. We were planning on going away for our anniversary in March and I don't really want that bump in a bikini...not attractive. We are going to try this month for sure, but we are going to take it month by month I guess. I'm kinda sad. I've been thinking so much about a baby. I've even been talking to it just in case it was there...I'm a geek I know!!

Amanda - November 7

I did the same thing too. I must be a geek too! This is the hardest decision for me to make. I cant decide what to do. He is fine with whatever decision I make since it is my body that has to be in a wedding with a belly. Well, I have 2 weeks to decide so I have time.

Helen - November 7

In some ways don't you just wish you had the shock of the accident and the woops how did that happen? And there you have it, I'm preggo rather than trying and then agonising over whether you try or not this month? I only got married a couple of months ago and with hindsight maybe we should have started trying before so that we could have a honeymoon baby. It's all so hard! I think dh is more disappointed than me about af.

Amanda - November 7

Helen- I know what you mean. I think a "whoops" would be great. I think that trying puts too much stress on us women. Most of the bfp's that I have read about technically stopped trying. They didnt do anything but bd every other day all month, and it worked. They did use opks, temp or anything. I kind of think that is the way to go. So Helen, where are you from and how old are you? I am almost 25 and I am from Texas.

Mel - November 7

I really do think that the stress of trying works against us. I'm sure soon as we stop trying it will happen. Just like when we were looking for Mr. Right...as soon as you stop looking there he is :)

Amanda - November 7

Heck! I knew my Mr. Right for 4 years before we started dating. We were always friends and had a crush on each other. We didnt even date until after college. I just always knew there was something about him, but never thought we'd end up together since he was 3 years older than me. Strange how life changes.

Mel - November 7

Life is strange. I met mine at work...right after I swore off work relationships. I had just had a really bad break up with another co-worker and thought to myself I'd never do that again when my bf started working here. He is younger than me and I didn't want to go there again with the work thing and before I knew it I was involved and happy I took the chance. I'd like to see us get out of this workplace (at least one of us) because this place is like high school...everybody knows everything about you...and what they don't know they make up.

Amanda - November 7

I know what you mean. We call ours the rumor mill! Neither of us work together which is great. We both are in business so we still have stuff to talk about though. It's pretty nice.

Mel - November 7

I just want to go home and crawl into bed. I'm sad about af and I want to be grumpy at home. It's not like it was unexpected but still. My bf is sad too. My friend is having her baby soon and I can't help but be jealous. It's so terrible to feel like that but we were sitting in my office this morning watchin her belly jumping and hearing about all her plans it made me feel sad. And I'm sad she's leaving for a year...I'm going to miss her. I'm just grumpy today!!! :)

Helen - November 7

Sorry~I'm 26 and from the midlands in the UK. dh and I have just had a nice dinner and commiserated about af! So true both of you with the comparison with finding mr Right. I always told my friends as soon as you're happy with yourself being single it will happen. Maybe when you want something too badly you lose perspective or something. What kind of weddings are you planning? Big ones? xx

Helen - November 7

Mel, I'm grumpy too. I came down with flu today probably not helped with being sad about af. We just have to be hopeful because most women just don't conceive in the first few months of trying, particulary after being on pill.

Mel - November 7

We both want a wedding where we go away. I want to go to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico. I'm not really interested in all that planning for one day. The only thing I have to have is the dress! Then we think we'll just have a reception when we get back and invite everyone to that...no stress and just a fun day!

Mel - November 7

I hear ya Helen. I was on the pill for 12 years so I wasn't really expecting this to be easy. I'm sure it will take some time. I've just always been the kind of person who wants what they want when they want it! Waiting is not one of my strengths! :)
