How do you know when you are ovulating is you havent had a period.. how long do you ovulate for? 1, 2, 3 days...

You don't ovulate for any length of time. It's the release of an egg - an instantaneous process. However, there are symptoms that precede ovulation, and they can last a few days. You may have cervical mucous that looks like stringy, stretchy egg whites or like water within the few days before ovulation. Your cervix wil alsol rise, soften and open. As definitive as these things sound, though, it's really hard to determine an ovulate date from them. The best way to determine ovulation would be to both use opks and take your temp every single morning before you get out of bed, eat, talk or do anything else. The opks can tell you when you're about to ovulate (though don't confirm that it's actually happened), and the temp rise you'll see the day after ovulation confirms it. Good luck!

Hmmm...I'm confused...have you ever had a period?

Do I understand correctly, you haven't had a period?...Time to call the gyn. Having a period is very healthy, shedding the uterus layer is important for maintaining edometrial health. You may not be ovulating if you don't have a period.
