Ovulation No Period Pregnant

I wanted to ask, if you are sure you ovulated, (used ovualtion kit and spotted the surge, lot's of egg white discharge and lot's of cramps at that time)...if you are not pregnant you have to have your period after 14 days, or could it be delayed even if you ovulate...in other word if you ovulated for sure and don't have your period after 14 days then you are pregnant or could it be something else??

I know I ovulated in May, I had the positive test, but never got a period, then ovulated again in june, and got a period for 2 days here on July 2nd and 3rd. It was weird. I thought that if you ovulated, and didn't get a period, you must be pregnant. I never had any positive tests though.

Beth, what makes you sure you ovulated, is it the ovulation test or something else....the other thing is it for sure if you spot the LH surge then you will ovulate ?

It was the ovulation test by first response. The line was lighter for a few days, then very dark, which means it was ovulation time. I don't really understand your next question. Sorry!

From my understanding, you don't necessarily ovulate just because the surge shows. Surge says your body is getting ready, but it may not actually happen. I know because I do ov. tests that show surge, and then later I have a blood test to see if I did in fact ovulate (I am on an a__sisted programme). Good original question by the way, I am just straggling the 14 DPO mark and kind of wondering the same thing)
