Hi, well ussually they say to take the test after noon and to hold your urine for 2 hours.

Yeah, you are not supposed to use morning urine. I believe the prime times are something like 10a-3p, then 5p-10p. That's a big window I know. I do it in the evening, around 4, sometimes 5. Because I've read that sometimes if you test too early in the day your body hasn't picked up the surge yet. So I go with evenings. Good luck! By the way, if you want some cheap test sticks, go to www.at-home-pregnancy-tests.com. I got something like 20 for $17.

Thanks but do I take the test when I think I should be close to ovluating? First month trying I am in the dark? thanks

Yes you should start testing a couple days before you think you will ovulate. m I have also heard that those are the times too. Christian you can go online and look up the instructions for ovulation tests. Good luck!!!

Are you suppose to have s_x 24 hours after the predictors says your ovualting that's what I thought I read on the box?

I think what it means is that ovulation occurs somewhere between 12-24 hours after the peak surge. However, since it is a matter of hours, that means you could easily miss your window if you wait until you see the surge to try. You're best to start trying in the days before expected ovulation, that way, you have a better chance of sperm already being there when the egg is released. Then continue to try for maybe a few days after the surge just to feel safe. Does that make sense?
