Just wondering...what day do you count your start of your period??? I had a couple days before the 31st of December where I saw traces of light spotting, but then on the night of the 31st I got gooey heavier, would this be my first day or when I first saw the tiny bit of spotting here or there? Trying to figure out when I would be ovulating. I believe this week but wanted to get the exact days down. Thanks!!

You count the first day of your cycle when full b__wn AF shows up. Don't count the days of spotting. If you want to know exactly when you are ovulating, I would recommend getting opk's (ovulation predictor kits). You can get opk strips very cheaply at www.early-pregnancy-tests.com. They will let you know within 12 - 24 hours of when you will ovulate. Not everyone ovulates 14 days before their next period, that is just a guideline. I had an average of 26 day cycles and ovulated on cd18 the month I got pregnant!
