I HAVE BEEN HAVING A LIGHT PEROID (LIGHT DAY PADS for THREE DAYS) EVERY MONTH> my husband and i have been trying for a baby> now my stomach is rounding out and getting wide all the way up to my belly button> i have not taken any prenatal vitamins and i also take seventyfive mcg of levoxyl for under active thyroid> is it possible to be pregnant and still have a peroid? i"m afraid that if i am i may have damaged my child during the first trimester due to my throid or lack of vitamins or folic acid> help!

CAN I BE PREGNANT AND STILL GET A PERIOD?

I just recently talked to a woman who just had a baby and she did have her peroid throughout her pregnancy.

Yes, you can still have what looks like a period. Levoxyl is in the FDA pregnancy category A. This means that Levoxyl is safe for use during pregnancy. It is also safe to take thyroid hormones if you are b___st-feeding a baby. This drug does pa__s into b___st milk, but it will not harm a nursing infant. (from drugs.com) ... http://www.gynob.com/fh.htm ... Belly b___ton height is 22 weeks.... Let's hope your diet is good enough that you have the requisite folic acid and vitamins. See FDA sources of folic acis ...http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/476.html
