I am on CD 25 (normally have 28 day cycles) I am 12DPO. If I were indeed pregnant, I should get a positive OPK? Right? Since OPK's detect the LH and hCG... Right? I have taken a few (dozen.lol) HPTS and all of those are BFN. What I don't understand is that my BBT is staying elevated at 98.59. I know I am a couple of days away from my period, but you would think that I would still being showing a positive OPK... Has this ever happened to anyone? I have severla PG symptoms Nausea twinges EXTREME fatigue PMS type moodiness VERY mild crampiness gassy (sorry if TMI) Maybe its just my period getting ready to start... what do you think?

OPK's can be used as pregnancy tests but are usually less sensative than other HPT's.

When exactly should you start using the OPK? Right after you finish AF or when?

I had no idea when to start using it.... So I just covered all bases, and went to the Dollar Tree and bought 30 of them!!! *they are only a dollar each) I started testing on Cycle Day ONE... and haven't stoped yet... Since I was unfamiliar w/ them (still am) seeing the change in them each day helped me see the difference in a positive OPK and an ALMOST positive OPK.... I got my positive on CD 14.... and what is odd is that i got another positive on CD 19... I dunno why.. We baby danced again just incase :)

The OPKs at the dollar store have a diagram on the back that says how long your cycle is and when you should start using them.
