Positive Test But Still Cramping

My doctor has confirmed that I am pregnant (5 weeks) and she also did an ultrasound to make sure it wasn't an ectopic pregnancy because I was experiencing some pain. The ultrasound showed no problems, but I am still experiencing menstrual like cramps. Did anyone else experience this?

I have seen comments from other women on this post saying that they experience period like cramps as well in early pregnancy. I think it has something to do with your uterus streching and adjusting to make way for the baby. As long as the pain isnt intense or their isn't any bleeding...all should be be well. Your body is going thru some big changes and it seems normal that it isn't going to be comfortable at times. Don't worry and take care! Baby Dust to you~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Thanks, Melissa. I have already sent my prayer up to God, but your reply is comforting. God Bless!!!!

I agree with melissa. Its normal. Thats pregnancy in a nut shell. The changes you have will not always be comfortable. Make sure you get enough water in and relax. Lay down if the pain gets bad. Don't worry!!! Good Luck and congrats!!!!!
