Pregnancy Testing

Confused - March 14

I took a home pregnancy test today and the results were negative but when I took it, I didn't know you were suppose to wait until you had missed a period. My last period was the last week of February and the beginning of March. The reason I am questioning whether or not I am pregnant is my last period was heavy for 3 days and then it totally stopped. About a week and a half after my period, my br___ts became sore which normally only happens right before I start. My br___ts are even more sore now....it hurts to even hug anyone and my nipples are overly sensitive. I still have a week or so before I am due to start another period. I have never been pregnant before, obviously. I have been a bit more tired than usual as well. But with me, fatigue is hard to monitor since I work long hours. I do not have insurance either so I don't know what to do. I'm a little scared....I would just like someone's opinion.

How long do your periods normally last????? If you think you might be preg. Get an Early one and do it with the first urine of the day.. But so some people won't get a BNP till 6-8 weeks

Well, the suspense is killing me. My b___sts have never been this sore. My boyfriend is suppose to be fixed but he had the reversable kind done. Last he checked, the doctor had told him they had grown back together on their own.

Well I would try the ept and if it still comes back neg call your doctor and have a blood test done. I was due for AF on the 11th and my b___bs are killing me. I am gonna try to wait till thur to take a test. Alot of people say that The First Response test the early one is good

Kristi - March 14

I used the Fact Plus one-step pregnancy test. I'd go to the doctor if I had insurance to pay for it....but I don't.

Kathy - March 14

Try the First response.. if that comes back neg and you don't get your period. Call your doc and find out how much the blood test is. It usally isn't that much

Is it true that some women don't totally stop their period for a while after they become pregnant?

Kathy - March 14

Also look throught the phone book or call your local hosital alot of them have clinics for people without ins and you only pay what your can afford

Kristi- Some people do have there periods during the first couple months of being preg. And if you and your bf were having s_x while you were ovulating then there is a really good chance..
