My last period was at the begining of Feb and I have a 26 day cycle. I have taken 2 home test and did a urine test at the doctors all neg. I have been trying to figure out whats going on and why I haven't had my period yet. It looks like the symptoms for perimenopause and pregnancy are they similar. Here are my symptoms: Sore br___ts crampy feeling pulling feeling dry eyes a lot of CM high cervix bloated light headed tired Probably more but I can't think of them I was wondering aside from a positive test if anything stands out as being clearly one or the other?

I'm wondering the same thing. It has been 65 days since my last period and I am having pregnancy symptoms but all negative tests. I am only 31 so I'm hoping it's pregnancy. Even though with my other two I found out right away. I did check out a book about perimenopause from the library which didn't have the answer. The doctor is the only one who seems to be able to help us and if you have one that sucks then this can be stressful. I haven't gone because I know they'll say wait, so now that I have missed two periods I hope they don't say wait. I hope you have a doctor that really listen and wants to help. I believe mine will. Good Luck!!

I have been told that if your hcg level is very high the test won't read it. It's higher with a girl and with twins. Twins are more common if you are over 35.

Oh my gooness are you serious! It won't read the test is your hcg is very high. Is this true, if so it would give me some hope that maybe I am preggers.

is there a reason for missing your period other than pregnancy or perimenopause...or these are the only two reason?

Wow I'm thinking I may be pregnant..I have had numerous neg hpts and if I am I'd be 15 weeks.I have 2 boys so a girl would be nice Where did you hear about being a girl or twins? :)
