can you be pregnant and still get monthly periods?

It's very possible. I've heard of women even bleed throughout the entire pregnancy.

What kind of symptoms do you have? I'm actually sort of wondering the same thing. I thought for sure Oct. I was prego, but af came...late, but it came and seemed pretty normal, aside from it lasting a bit shorter than usual. Yesterday I experienced some brown discharge, but it cannot be af coming again, I'm not due until 11/29 or so......I've had this cough/sore throat the last few days and I've been feeling warm....what about you?

How are you to know for sure if your pregnant with a period. My period works like clock work! And last 7 days. But this month everything was pointing to pregnancy. metal mouth, queasy stomach, headaches, sore and tingly b___bs, cramps, pinching kind. and a wierd tingle or twinge in my uterus. Sleep a lot crave wierd foods, but then my af came. It was only four days then done. now I have a lot of cm creamy and lotion like, still sore b___bs, still peeing a lot but negative test? Who's to know really.
