Problem Predicting Ovulation Using Multiple Methods Poll

I starting BBT charting last month using mulitple software tools. The month prior to that is only used OPK and cervix monitoring. This month i am adding saliva monitoring and fertility monitoring. My problem is that none of teh tools I have used so far seem to agree on when I ovulate. Until I started TTT 3 months ago my cycles were reg 27-28 with 4 days of AF. I thought it was going to be a snap to figure out when I was ovulating. However since I have been TTC my cylcles have ranged from 26 to 31 days and my AF's have been very different. I put last months bbt data into 4 software tools to see if they could determine when or if I ovulated. I though I ovulated on CD 17 when I experienced ovulation pain and had seen eggwhite CM, however only two of the programs showed this as the outcome. The others showed CD14, CD 18 (using another methoded in the same program, and CD 21. From my previous cycle using the OPKs, I ovulated on CD 18. I began to think that I might have a problem with my luteal phase being too short. As you can see I am a bit of a control freak and need to use these tools to keep from stressing out (I know that sounds strange). OK, now to the question. Which of these tools have worked best for you? What problems have you had with any of them? Any other comments would be apprecitated. The programs that I am currently using are Fertility Freind, Ovusoft, Hormonal Forecaste, Mommymaker, and I am trying to install GenderLabs (currently experiencing technical difficulty). Thanks!!!!!

I tried using the Clear Blue Easy Ovulation Tests last month (throw away applicators) and they never worked. My AF cycles are the same as your. I have only been trying for a month so far. I am working on my second. I am trying to use the bbt chart now. I wish you luck!!!!
