During your menstrual cycle (Day 1-14) progesterone levels are usually in the range of 1 to 1.5 ng/ml. (Day 15-28) progesterone levels are usually in the range of 2-28 ng/ml. If you are pregnant....First Trimester progesterone levels are 9-47 ng/ml...Second Trimester levels are 17-147 ng/ml...and Third Trimester levels are 55-200 ng/ml. Sometimes doctors will check a woman's progesterone level during pregnancy. Most doctors like to see a minimum level of 10 ng/ml during the first few weeks of pregnancy. If a woman has low progesterone levels this can be an indication of a threatened miscarriage. Hope this helps...

Wow rachel, your prog. levels fall in to first trimester norm...(of course taking in account that clomid doesn't artifically increase the levels), but it certainly does does sound good, lets hope they keep going up...good luck to you girl!

My situation is that I have a doctors appointment on Monday to figure out what the heck is the reason why I am not conceiving after 7 months of trying. I temp and have an ovulation monitor and lord know I have BDed on all the appropriate days for several cycles, but nothing. I do know that i ovulate on cycle day 22 or 24 (35-38 day cycle) so I was thinking about asking the doctor about clomid or to find out whether this is hurting my chances of getting pregnant. Why are you on clomid?

rachel1 - April 28

im on clomid cause i have pcos. hope u can sort out your problem soon.

I thought I would die...my lower back hurt so bad and I was p__sing razor blades...it sucked...but now I am careful and haven't gotten one since the antibiotics.
