Question About CDs

I had been on bc pills for almost 6 years when I got off of them in late November. I was a teenager when I started them and do not really know what my cycle was like then, didn't really pay attention then. I had a regular AF on Dec 10, 2005. Dh and I bd at least 2-3 times a week, ttc. I had a small amt of spotting, mostly brown in cm when I wiped around jan. 6. One day, that was it. This week I was really starting to think that I might be Bfp, but started spotting again last night, then today AF shows up. If I calculate my cycle from Dec. 10, that would be 46 days. Is that accurate? How do I know when I will ovulate again? I have one child, ds, who is 6, who was not exactly a "planned" pregnancy (but well loved :) ). Since we really did not try to get pregnant with ds, I never imagined it would be so difficult.

Some women take a few months after stopping the pill for their cycles to regulate themselves. My guess is that next month will be a bit shorter, the following shorter, etc. until they finally go back to normal.

Thanks Lin!
