Question About Cervical Opening

I have been having weird cycles, but am ovulating since being off Depo. I was just wondering after ovulation does the cervix ever open slightly before your period? I just ovulated a few days ago and spotted the day after until today. My CP right now is low, firm on the top, but soft on the bottom and I think the opening is slightly open..definitely not fully open. I havent had any of my usual PMS symptoms and was just wondering if its possible for the cervix to stay slightly open after ovulation. My chart link is http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/109a37 if anybody cares to look at my chart. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I can usually tell when AF is about to arrive, because it does open up a couple days before. It also gets very soft.

There's really no point in trying to determine if you're pregnant from your cervical post_tion. After ovulation, it can be all over the place. As I've said several times on this site within the last few days, a couple months ago my cervix was soft, high and closed all the way from ovulation until AF, when it quickily dropped and opened. I was convinced I was pregnant, and it was just a big let down. You could be pregnant, you could not be, but trying to tell from your cp will just drive you nutty.

I wasnt using it to determine if i was pg..i was just wondering if it was normal for it to be slightly open while spotting and then close again.

Well, as I said, it can be all over the place.
