I just checked my cp this morning and than again a few minutes ago and I noticed some blood- I am 10 dpo, it was not dark like old blood but reddish but not bright bleeding red- sorry tmi- could I have irritated it, I still have 4 days before AF is due but I am hoping to be pregnant- it is very high and firm- any thoughts???

I am not sure about the bleeding but i'm thinking maybe it's IB and as far as it being Far up there sounds about right. It usually drops a few days before AF or the same day.

I'm not sure about the bleeding, maybe like emma said, it could be IB. If AF isn't due your cervix should be high right now and drop a day or so before AF. I wouldn't not recommend checking the cervix for signs of pregnancy though, Mine was all over the place even after I found out I was pregnant and didn't go high and stay there until about 8 weeks into my pregnancy. Good luck!

I second what Celia says about cervix in early pregnancy. Mine is all over the place too!!! It just wont stay in one freakin place.

so the spotting actually never came out of me, i only saw the spotting when I checked my cervix, but I read somewhere that sometimes it is sensitive due to the extra blood flow to that area???

I agree with celia but I know when I check my cp I have a little drop of blood and then couple days later I will stsrt the pink spotting and then to AF. I wish you luck that it is IB but I am just letting you know how it is with me...I heard so many times not to go by CP since it changes so quickly in your body.

Hi! This is my first time posting but I just had to ask. If you are pregnant what does the CP feel like? And when you check CP do you lie down or what? Thanks!!!!

When pregnant, your cp eventually goes high and soft, but it usually doesn't happen until long after af has been missed. DO NOT try to interpret cp to determine if you're pregnant. I personally had a high and soft cervix all the way from ovulation to af once and convinced myself I was pregnant, only for my cervix to drop the day af arrived. Your cervix can be anywhere during the luteal phase.

aside from the cp- i think what i had could have been IB, I am not due for AF until Friday, it is just brownish and it isn't discharging it is just when i go to check my cervix it comes out on the tissue- sorry but I don't know how else do describe it-
