Question About OPK

i have a 31 day cycle and most of the time my opk turns positive on cd 17 using the digital tests. This month i bought answere opk with the lines in them. I have been testing since cd 11 and there had been nothing on my opk. Yesturday , cd 14 i had what seemed to be a positive opk. a really dark line but not as thick as the sample line in the opk. I took another one a few hours later and it was still positive. today, cd 15 i had a very negative opk again. Could it be that i ovulated early or that the opk was wrong? Should i go ahead and buy a digital opk tets? help, ive been trying to conceive for a year and am perfectly healthy. I did bd with hubby on cd 13 and today, cd 15. If i ovulated on cd 14, what are my chaces of getting pregnant? Should i keep testing with opks again???

The opks are believable. You typically ovulate anywhere between 12-36 hours after a positive opk, so it wouldn't be unheard of to get a positive opk on cd 14 and ovulate on cd 16. Ovulation does vary anyway. If you bd-ed on cd 13 and cd 15, then your chances are probably about as good as they can be. There really isn't much difference in odds between bd-ing the day of ovulation, the day before ovulation and even the day before that. Good luck! By the way, have you seen an RE yet?

Hi Lin, whats an RE? Well, i hope this is it. i am still going to bd tonight and tomorrow night since my CM is still alot and very err white like. According to my monthlycycle, i should ov. on the 31st. do you think i should keep trying even though the opk says i did ovulate? gosh, this is frustrating. do you think i should just bd tonight and wait it out? ahhhh.... i really hope, but to tell you th truth, i am just soo tired of all of this. I need some guidance.......help
