this is my first month testing with the ovulation prediction kits, I bought some at walmart and took my first one yesterday, the line was faint, so when i took one this morning it was still faint, will the lines continue to be faint til right before ovulation? should i be having s_x right now in case i do ovulate sooner? help! i dont understand whats going on here.. should i have a darker line tomorrow?!

hi mee,its hard to say as opk's can be so great or c___ppy. what is your lmp date etc.? if you know you should be ovulating soon then its possible to get a faint line and then it will get gradually darker. make sure you test mid day around 4 or 5 pm since early morning pee can show no sign and then bam later that day it could show since the lh surge grows stronger as the day goes on. i sometimes use them or i just wing it since they hvaent gotten me pregnant yet. i am getting early cycles all of a sudden so maybe i have a lutheal problem.

Hiya! I started using opk on Mar 24 which was CD 18. For 5 days in a row I had a line, but not a positive line. Then on March 22 the line got darker, but still not quite as dark as control line. March 30, CD 24 I got a positive. I have used them before, but figured that I wasn't ov'ing. But I guess I didn't try long enough. Good Luck!!
